Hygge Hub
Hygge: (Hyoo-Gah), However You Pronounce It, Is Not Important. It Is The Meaning Of Hygge That Is More Relevant. As Winnie The Pooh Said When Asked How To Spell A Certain Emotion, “You Don’t Spell It; You Feel It!” This Is What Hygge Is All About. It’s The Art Of Feeling Cosy, Comfortable, Happy, Healthy, and Calm. It Is The ‘Happiness Of The Soul.’

Why Hygge?
Hi there! I’m Ira Ellison, and welcome to my cosy place called Hygge Hub!
Prounced as hyoo-gah. According to the Hygge book that I've read, Hygge is the art of the cosiness of the soul. It's taking pleasure from the presence of soothing things, experience and environment. It's about decluttering the mind. It is being grateful for the moment.

I’ve always been passionate about finding ways to feel cosy, content, and comfortable in life. My journey into the world of hygge began during the several years I lived in Sweden. There, I learned the art of "mys," which is all about creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, especially during the long, cold, and dark winters.
In Denmark, they call it "hygge," but whether you say mys or hygge, the essence is the same: creating a space where you feel truly at ease.
For me, feeling comfortable in my own space is essential. It's how I function at my absolute best.
Hygge isn't just about candles and blankets (though they certainly help!); it's a remedy for a chaotic mind. It's about being present in the moment, savouring the simple joys, and taking life one day at a time.
For me, hygge is not just about the outside environment, but also the environment inside your head and your body. It's about finding that inner peace and balance that allows you to truly enjoy and appreciate the wonderful world around you.

Join me as I share tips, stories, inspiration, and products to help you create your own hygge environment.
Let's embrace the cosiness and find contentment together!
